Classic Gyros Mediterranean Grill is hands-down one of the best places to eat in Ridgecrest. I’ve lived here for over ten years, and this has become my go-to spot for consistently amazing food and genuinely warm service. It’s a humble little place tucked into a strip mall, but don’t let the exterior fool you—what they serve inside is nothing short of fantastic. Every time I walk in, I’m greeted like a regular, whether it’s the owner or one of the staff. It’s family-run, and it really shows. They care about their customers, they take the time to explain menu items if you’re unsure, and they make you feel like more than just another transaction. That kind of hospitality is rare these days, especially in fast-casual dining. The food is where Classic Gyros truly shines. Their gyros are perfectly seasoned, juicy, and always fresh, with soft pita, crisp veggies, and their house-made tzatziki that I could honestly drink by the gallon. The chicken shawarma is tender and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice, and their combo plates are a great way to try a bit of everything—generous portions of rice, hummus, falafel, tabbouleh, and more. Everything tastes fresh and made with care. Even their fries are seasoned and crispy, and I always grab an order of baklava before I leave—it’s flaky, rich, and perfectly sweet. The portion sizes are generous, the pricing is incredibly reasonable, and most importantly, the quality never slips. I’ve been here during lunch rushes, slow afternoons, and evenings, and it’s always consistently excellent. You can tell they’re proud of what they do, and that pride translates into every meal. Classic Gyros is one of those rare local gems that gets it right across the board: great food, kind people, clean space, fair prices, and real consistency. Very good food along with the amount of choices. The food tastes fresh and portions are very filling. Pricing during the 2-5 deals of 5 dollars per pita is great for cheap lunch. Staff are very friendly and there's seating inside. Take away chips can become a little stale, better to eat food straight away.

Delicious with so much Flavor!! You get so much food that I ended up making 2 meals out of it. So much variety and options to choose from when you eat here. I highly recommend this as a must stop and eat if you're in Ridgecrest.

So good. SO GOOD. The Greek salad is packed full of fresh ingredients and has the perfect amount of each. I was eating the hummus with a spoon. Zero complaints. For a Mediterranean restaurant in the middle of nowhere it wins my vote over Mediterranean restaurants in the middle of somewhere! Flavorful and YUH-UH-UMMEE!

It was warm we sat outside was there for 1 and half hour was eating with family was out there for f funeral we had burgers and a gyro and fries they have pebbled ice which I love

Very nice place to stop for lunch. Was on limited time so we stopped for lunch. Service was quick, unless you order kebabs. The kebabs I am assuming are cooked to order so there’s a 15-20 minute wait for those. I got one of the gyros and it was really good. The taziki sauce was amazing. Will definitely have to stop there again when I’m in town next time.

Tried this place for the first time about 3 weeks ago. Normally we go to Classic burger but I asked to try classic gyros. Best decision for my after birthday lunch. I got the smash burger with garlic feta fries. Let me tell you, those fries are a meal on it's own. But my combo was just over 15 and that's awesome with the portions I got. My husband got a shawarma sandwich and then a gyro, can't remember if it was chicken or lamb? But he said it was good. The shawarma was a bit dry, so we got garlic sauce on the side and that helped. Loved the staff, they were very understanding of my allergy(shellfish) and made sure my food stayed far away from the shrimp. We will definitely be revisiting, especially since they're a lot closer than classic burger.

Awesome food, atmosphere and service! The food is so fresh and the servings are quite ample. The dining room is very clean and pleasant and the staff are very friendly., especially Heather. Without a doubt my favorite eatery in town!
